Marko Monev 1936-2004

Marko Monev lived and worked in the city of Rousse, on the bank of the river Danube, Northern Bulgaria.
Since 1964 he participated in all of the general and regional exhibitions of the Union of the Bulgarian Artists (U B A) as well as in some representative exhibitions abroad.

His works could be seen in art galleries and private collections in Bulgaria and abroad .

Some of his works are included in various albums, such as: "Contemporary Bulgarian Fine Arts", "Bulgarian Landscape Fine Arts"- published by BAS (the Bulgarian Academy of Science). Young Bulgarian Artists"- published by U B A. Marko Monev is also represented in the "Encyclopedia of Fine Arts in Bulgaria". His name is included in "EncyclopediaBulgaria", volume 2, page 607; volume 5, page 132
